Synopsis/Review: Underworld: Awakening

Selene (Kate Beckinsale) was held captive in a facility called Antigen, but then someday, she was released by something. Selene was the 'Subject 1' in this facility.
During her exit from Antigen, she saw something as if she saw it through someone else's eyes, and thought that this should be from Michael's eyes. During her search of Michael, she encountered another vampire, named David (Theo James), who has been following her for a while. Following the vision, she finally found the source of the vision ... which was not Michael, but a little girl, Eve (India Eisley) or the Subject 2.

Knowing that Antigen would chased them, David offered to hide in his hideout with the others.
In the hiding place, Selene met David's father and the rest of the clan. They didn't welcome Selene and Eve, because of what Selene did to their elders in the past. But David stand by with his decision to bring them in, because he thought that Selene was their greatest ally.
Not long after that, the hideout was being ambushed. They thought they were attacked by Antigen, but they're wrong. It's the lycan, not just one, but many lycan, and not the human who attacked them.
How can that be? Are they survive the attack?
...
I've been waiting for the sequel for quite some time. See the release of the other series:
- Underworld (2003)
- Underworld: Evolution (2006)
- Underworld: Rise of The Lycans (2009) - It's actually the prequel of Underworld ~ the history how the war between vampire and lycan started.
As the Underworld series fan, I also like this one. But compare to the previous one, I like the Underworld: Evolution better.
Love to see Selene in action again.
Happy watching! :)
