Synopsis/Review: Safe House

Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) was a house keeper of a not ordinary house. It's a safe house. A safe house of CIA. A safe house to protect the witness, or to keep a suspect before he's being transferred to another location.
It's his 12 months of employment in CIA. His post was in Cape Town, South Africa. He's bored with his current job, where he only starred 4 walls every day. When he's asking for a promotion, he was not qualified enough for the position. Other applicants have more field experience than he's.
One day, Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington), a former great agent of CIA that has been accused of selling information, showed up in Cape Town. He's meeting with another former MI-6 agent, Alec Wide (Liam Cunningham), who's going to give Frost a list of important name.
After the transaction, Frost was attacked with a group of men. He didn't have a choice than to seek custody in the US consulate in Cape Town.
The minute he entered the consulate, CIA was alerted with this situation. Then they organized a team to pick him up from the consulate and bring him to the safe house. The same safe house where Weston was posted.
Arrived in the safe house, they brought Frost directly to the interrogation room.
Not long after this, suddenly the safe house was being attacked with the same group of men that was attacked Frost before.
Would they survive the attack?
What Weston should do as a house keeper?
...
Frost: 'Remember rule number one. You're responsible for your house guest. I'm your house guest.'
...
Safe house is another great movie of Denzel Washington. I've said before that I love movie with the government agencies stories. Including this one. It's like the Bourne series movie. It has chasing cars scene, many shooting, and fighting scenes.
The story of Safe House kinda has a new perspective. A new perspective from the house keeper point of view. I never knew before that a safe house has a house keeper. And one house has only one house keeper. It also shown in the movie, how a safe house looks like. The guest room, the interrogation room, the control room, and so on.
So if you like Bourne series, you're surely gonna love this one too!
